gymnastics work – day 3
A.  Snatch; 75% x 3 singles (90), 80% x 3 singles (95), 85% x 3 singles (102)
It’s great when you get a PR, but when all your numbers go up considerably it kinda sucks!  Today was a hard day on snatches but I held in there.  I failed on only 2 out of the 9 singles.  I counted the misses b/c I got under them and was getting tired.  Got 2 at 90, 3 at 95, and 2 at 100.  Here’s a vid of one miss and one catch at 100.
B.  BN power jerk + frt rack split jerk (1+1) @ 70-75% x 4 sets (115-120)
was pretty wiped out by the time I got here and it was hurting to bring down the jerk from the back to the front rack so I actually dropped it on the last set and my hubby picked it up for me.  🙂  Here’s one at 115…
C.  Front Squat; 70% x 6 reps x 4 sets (125)
My back was surprisingly smoked by the time I got to these.  I think it was from the heavier snatching.  So, I only did 3 rounds of the FS.

Pendlay row @ 100#
This was an interesting wod.  The TTB were a break, but I either forgot to take the 2.5’s off of the pendlay rows for the first 3 sets, or forgot to add it back on for the next 2 sets.  UGH….long day.  I had been at the gym from 4:30 – almost 7:30.
Got thru 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 5, 4 when 8 min was up.    Guess that was pretty slow.  😦
